Towards the 1900s, many Asturians went to live in South America. They made great fortunes and returned to Asturias, where they built the so-called Casas de Indianos (colonial architecture), which are very famous in Nueva de Llanes.
Hotel Rural Ovio is in a Casa de Indianos, and the furniture is made by us, since we have a woodworking tradition in the family. Ovio used to be our great-grandparents town and, thus, we have paid a small homage to the family, a tribute that is lasting more than 38 years of experience in the hostelry field.
Thus, Hotel Rural Ovio is our home, and we open its doors to everyone so that you can come and rest in Nueva de Llanes and enjoy its beautiful natural surroundings.
